Recent outfits have all felt pretty colourful for me! I’m actually really enjoying injecting colour into my looks after years of neutral dressing. Definitely influenced by Michael Rider’s CELINE, but I also think summer lends itself so well to having a bit of fun with dressing, and colour is a great way to do that.
The outfits I've found myself returning to this past month all feature reliable favourites, with the occasional new addition to keep things feeling fresh. The great weather has continued to show up every day, which has made getting dressed so much easier (I love summer dressing) and it’s been great being able to wear pieces that often only get a look in on holiday. Here are some of the outfits that came together this month.
An oldie but a goodie, this Hush t-shirt isn’t especially precious, but it’s one of those items I have got so much wear out of. I do think everyone should own a marle grey t-shirt as it’s a classic, and great for a bit of 90s laid back styling. Definitely not one for very hot days though. Sweat patches are not chic.
These chinos from Alex Eagle are new in and I’m so glad I finally got my hands on a pair after loving them ever since the collection launched. They have a built-in drawstring waist, contrasting buttons, and such a good shape. Great styled with the matching chino shirt (see above). I absolutely love everything Alex Eagle does and AES is a brand to keep an eye on for sure.
