May was the month of accessories. A few trips meant packing light and relying on a capsule wardrobe, which also meant often wearing the same staples on repeat. I find the easiest way to make outfits feel new is through the small details — different jewellery, bags, and shoes can completely change the mood of a look. It reminded me that sometimes the pieces that make the biggest difference are the ones that take up the least amount of space in my suitcase.
I really enjoy laying out all my accessories when I’m away — it just makes everything feel so much more intentional. It’s perfect for grab-and-go, but I also like being able to actually see everything I’ve brought with me at a glance. That said, I do find getting dressed while travelling so much easier in general; there’s something nice about being limited to what’s in your suitcase, so I spend less time overthinking and more time having fun with styling.
