The Five | 29
A curated selection of things I’m loving right now — from wardrobe staples and everyday essentials to beauty must-haves and more.
01
Albaray | Relaxed Vest
Albaray’s Relaxed Vest has quickly become a staple in my summer wardrobe. I loved wearing it with the matching Balloon Trousers on a recent press trip — it made for such an effortless, put-together look with minimal effort. In warmer weather, the fluid silhouette is ideal; the fabric skims the body without clinging, making it feel light and breathable even on the hottest days. I found both pieces true to size, in case you'd like to recreate the look above.

Christopher Esber | Jo Thong Sandals
Okay, I know I included a pair of flip-flops in The Five not too long ago, but hear me out... I am so pleased with these and completely obsessed with the jelly-like finish. They're available in a few colourways and, although I love them all, black was the obvious choice for me. That said, I do have my eye on this pair too. I sized up one size, and they fit perfectly.

Miu Miu | Fleur de Lait Eau de Parfum
I’ve really been enjoying wearing Miu Miu’s Fleur de Lait Eau de Parfum on recent trips, and its fruity notes instantly transport me back to sun-soaked beaches and tropical cocktails whenever I’m home. The juicy sweetness is balanced beautifully by delicate osmanthus, which adds soft, apricot-like floral notes. Even the bottle is a dream, making it a joy to display as well as wear.
I don’t tend to switch up my perfumes too often, but when I do, it’s usually for good reason — and this just might be the perfect summer holiday scent.

Maison Ola | Le Jeanne
Ever since experimenting with a similar Zara piece, I’ve been keen to try Maison Ola’s handmade headwear. There’s something about the Le Jeanne hat that feels really special. It’s crafted from natural raffia in France, and the sleek, rounded shape and minimal design make it such an easy finishing touch.
I’ve always found headwear to be such a great way to elevate an outfit, and it’s something I really enjoy switching up depending on the look I’m going for. Lately, I’ve also been really into headscarves, and Maison Ola’s linen versions are especially beautiful.
05
Suspicion | Seichō Matsumoto
I’ve been taking this book away with me and reading it in little pockets of quiet moments. It follows Onizuka Kumako, a strong, outspoken woman with a complicated past who marries a wealthy widower — only for their brief happiness to end in tragedy when he dies in a suspicious accident.
It’s a short read, but it still leaves you wanting just a little bit more. This was my first Matsumoto novel, but it definitely won’t be my last.
Until next time,
